Description:

 

    This plant adopts a MS purification air process with high temperature/low temperature booster expander, refrigeration by nitrogen recycle, as well as production argon by complete rectification without nitrogen.

  1. Feed air gets elimination of dust and other mechanical impurities in self-cleaning type filter and enters centrifugal compressor to be compressed to 0.62MPa(A), and then it’s cooled to 10 in pre-cooler. After air is elimination of CO2 and moisture in molecular sieve purifier, the purified air enters cold box and after it gets cooled by the reflux gas in medium pressure heat exchanger, it goes into lower column to be separated originally to obtain liquid nitrogen and enrich oxygen liquid air. Liquid air and liquid nitrogen are drawn from lower column to be cooled in subcooler, then the throttled air is fed into upper column to be further rectification. The product liquid oxygen is obtained at the bottom of upper column, and after subcooled in subcooler, it is fed out of cold box to liquid oxygen storage tank.
  2. After the waste nitrogen gas drawn from upper column is rewarmed and fed out of cold box for the regeneration gas of molecular sieve. Low pressure nitrogen gas is fed out of the top of upper column for supply client after it is compressed.
  3. The nitrogen gas at the top of lower column is divided into two streams. One is liquefied by liquid oxygen at low pressure side of main condenser and refluxed into lower column as the reflux liquid. Another stream is rewarmed and fed out of cold box, and then it enters medium pressure recycle nitrogen gas pipe.
  4. The medium recycle nitrogen gas is fed into recycle nitrogen compressor by nitrogen pipe, after the nitrogen gets compressed to 2.6 MPa(G), it is divided into two stream, after the first stream enters cold box to be cooled in medium pressure
