Description:
The proposed plant employs a process in which air is purified by molecular sieve and refrigerated by boosting turbine expander; and fractionating column is sieve trays column. The feed air sucked through air intake is cleaned of dust and other mechanical impurities in air filter AF and compressed to a pressure by air compressor. The compressed air flows into air precooling system for temperature to be reduced and reach saturated condition. The air comes from the air precooling system flows into switched molecular sieve adsorber where such impurities as moisture, CO2, C2H2 and other impurities are adsorbed by molecular sieve. A small part of purified compressed air is fed out to be instrument air; after being cooled, the rest air enters main heat exchanger (E1) to be cooled to the saturated temperature by reflux gas and then enters nitrogen column. Part gas drawn from the middle of main heat exchanger E1 flows into expander ET to be expanded, and then it flows to the upper column to follow the rectification. After preliminary rectification in the lower column, the oxygen-rich liquid air will be obtained at the bottom of lower column. The liquid air drawn from the lower column which is subcooled in the subcooler E2 is fed to the corresponding part of upper column. After the further rectification in the upper column, the liquid oxygen and gaseous oxygen will be obtained at the bottom of upper column. The gaseous oxygen back flows to main heat exchanger to be rewarmed, and then it is fed out of cold box as product. The waste nitrogen drawn from the upper column which rewarmed by subcooler and main heat exchanger is fed out of cold box, and firstly meet the requirement of regeneration of molecular sieve, and the rest flows into other systems.
